One Injured, Two Apprehended After Shooting At Union Station, Capitol Police Say

United States Capitol Police apprehended a pair of suspects involved in an alleged shooting at Union Station, authorities announced.

Shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, a Capitol Police sergeant heard the shots at Union Station, while DC’s Metropolitan Police issued an alert for shots fired at the same location.

Officers were quick to respond to the scene, searched the area, and apprehended two suspected shooters involved in the incident near North Capitol Street and H Street, where they confiscated a handgun, officials said.

During the shooting incident, one person suffered a minor wound to their foot at Union Station.
